Personal data processed on this website is the responsibility of:
What data we process
This site has no user accounts, forms or online purchases, and it does not use advertising or visitor statistics. We therefore do not ask you for personal data in order to browse.
- Favourites and gift list. When you save an item to your favourites or gift list, and if you type your name in the list, that information stays only on your device (browser local storage). We do not receive it.
- “Ask for gifts” link. The link you create contains the item codes and the name you typed. You share it yourself (WhatsApp, email, etc.); we do not store it.
- Hosting technical data. The site is hosted by Microsoft (Azure Static Web Apps, in the European Union), which processes technical connection data, such as the IP address and the page requested, to deliver the site and keep it secure. We do not use it to identify you.
- Contacts. If you write or call us, we use the data you give us only to reply.
Purpose and legal basis
To display the site and catalogue (legitimate interest in keeping the site running and secure) and to answer your enquiries (steps taken at your request). We do not sell or share data with third parties and we make no automated decisions.
How long we keep it
What is stored on your device stays until you delete it (in your browser settings). Contacts you send us are kept for as long as needed to deal with the matter and meet legal obligations.
Links to other sites
The “Get directions” button opens Google Maps, and there are links to Grupo Alves and Oficina de Código. When you follow these links, the privacy policy of those sites applies.
Your rights
You may ask us for access, rectification or erasure of your data, restriction of or objection to processing, and portability, by writing to geral@greenalves.com. We reply within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD (www.cnpd.pt).
Online shop
When the online shop opens, it will have its own privacy policy covering account, order and payment data.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with the date of the last update.
